New York Operations Update: 6/21/20


We are now making deliveries into NYC, Brooklyn and LI on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. All orders must be placed by 6 pm the night before delivery.

All current account holders can place an order by leaving a voicemail at 631-563-1330, emailing orders@blueislandoysters.com, or text us at 631-371-3069. We will confirm any orders before we make the delivery. For the time being, we are focusing on carrying mostly local varieties to ensure the highest quality, so selection is limited.

New York Operations Update: 6/16/20

We’re still only regularly shipping via Southwest Cargo, Ground Freight and FedEx. Orders placed for pick up are also available.

We hope to see NYC reach phase 2 of reopening soon. When that is in site we will evaluate when we will be able to resume our regular scheduled direct to chef deliveries in NYC, Brooklyn & Western Long Island. Until then, if you have an order request email orders@blueislandoysters.com or call 631.563.1330 and we will provide you with any available shipping or delivery options and current pricing and availability.

New York Operations Update: 5/9/20

We’re currently shipping out local oyster varieties via Southwest Cargo, ground freight and FedEx as often as we can. Flights are at a minimum so scheduling has been an issue so email or call and we’ll check on current flight schedules.

We can also take orders for pick up at our West Sayville location. Call or email your order in and we can get back to you to confirm availability and when it would be avialable for pick up.

At this time it is still unclear as to when regular NYC, Brooklyn, and western Long Island deliveries will commence.  Email us with your name and restaurant name if you were not already receiving our weekly emails before the shutdown and we will add you to that list. You’ll see any updates we send out as we get close to knowing when we will begin making deliveries again.

All of our administration staff are currently working remotely, so please be patient. We will respond as soon as we possibly can with answers and order confirmations.
